biography
My artistic training started with my school leaving diploma in Applied Arts at the “Stagio Stagi” Art Institute in Pietrasanta (Lucca, Italy), followed by a diploma in Sculpture and Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara in 1984. There I met Enzo Mari, Design Professor with whom I began a continuative collaboration that would last over twenty years.
My interest for the project led me to establish additional contacts with designers such as Bruno Munari, Achille Castiglioni, Roberto Sambonet, Marco Ferreri, Angelo Mangiarotti, Salvatore Gregorietti, Elio Martinelli and Emiliana Martinelli.
I have worked for major companies such as Alessi, lngo Maurer and Danese Milano, with whom I created general catalogues and catered to communication. Among others, Associazione Jacqueline Vodoz, Bruno Danese, Zani&Zani, Zanotta. I have been working with Martinelli Luce since 1986, handling their communication on social networks and photos for advertising. My publications: Domus, Abitare, Gap Casa, Area, Ottagono, Casa Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vinum, Du-Die Zeitschrift der Kultur.
In addition to my interest for architecture, design and still life, I dedicate part of my work to personal research in the realm of art, in order to find the right balance between aesthetic attractiveness typical of a work of art and the practicality of objects of everyday use, today exhibited in important Italian and international collections.
